TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR THE SUPPLY OF A GRANULATING MACHINE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF ORGANIC FERTILIZERS

Introduction 

As part of promoting the production and use of local organic inputs, Inades-Formation Rwanda is implementing a project entitled  " Project to support
the development of territorialized and sustainable food systems based on sovereignty foods
and climate resilience. "  This project plans to scale up the production and use of local organic inputs (biofertilizers, biopesticides for protecting plants in the field and biopesticides for preserving crops). In this demonstration and learning process, an Organic Input Production and Management Unit (UProGIO) must be set up to serve as a place for demonstration, learning and innovation on the manufacture and use of local organic inputs. This unit will be managed by a Farmers' Organization (FO) called "ABAKANGUKIYEKAWA" which agreed to carry out this initiative after interviews with Inades-Formation Rwanda.  

It is in this context that Inades-Formation Rwanda wants to grant a granulating machine to the OP for the manufacture of biofertilizers.

PRESENTATION OF THE INSTITUTION 

Inades-Formation Rwanda is a non-governmental organization under Rwandan law.  
It belongs to a pan-African network, Inades-Formation, which is currently established
in ten countries: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo (DRC), Ivory Coast, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Chad and Togo.

Inades-Formation is the common name for “African Institute for Economic and Social Development – ​​African Training Center”.  

Inades-Formation Rwanda was created in 1976. It obtained legal personality by Ministerial Order No. 119 of August 22, 1977, revised by Ministerial Order No. 75/11 of April 18, 2006.

Since May 29, 2013, Inades-Formation Rwanda has been officially recognized as

a national NGO in accordance with the new law No. 04/2012 of 17/02/2012 governing
the creation and functioning of NGOs in Rwanda and has received official approval
from the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB).

VISION :

The vision of Inades-Formation Rwanda is to “  Serve the common good for a dignified life for all”.  

Assignment :

The mission of Inades-Formation Rwanda is to:  “   Work for the economic
and social promotion of populations by giving particular importance to their free and responsible participation in the transformation of their society  ”.

Technical specifications of the machine to be supplied

The technical specifications of the machine to be supplied are specified below:

• The brand of the machine is “CHOPPER MACHINE”;
• Be made of 5 mm sheet metal;
• Have 2 bearings of the 208 axle;
• Have knives made of 3 mm stainless steel sheets;
• The bolts that secure the knives are M12;
• Have a 7.5 KW dynamo.
• Have the capacity to produce 350kg of dry herb flour per hour (350kg/h).

Submission conditions :

• Have proven experience in supplying similar items (at least 5 years);
• Be prepared to fulfill the order according to the agreed schedule after signing the service provision contract.
• Be able to provide the EBM invoice.

Submission files :

Submission files must include the following elements:

• A clear photo of the machine to be provided;
• The price of the item;
• A registration certificate issued by RDB and a certificate of non-claim issued by RRA.

All files must be in sealed envelopes and reach the Inades-Formation Rwanda office located in Remera, on November 8, 2024 at the latest at 10:00 a.m. The envelopes will be opened the same day at 10:30 a.m. in front of the bidders who wish to do so.
