Procurement of Gynaecological Anatomic Models, ZOE ® Gynecologic Simulators

CHAI is supporting the integration of hormonal IUD into national Family Planning (FP) systems to ensure hormonal IUD service delivery sustainability and a full integration into available FP method mix in Rwanda.

As part of many other health system strengthening interventions and capacity building efforts that CHAI supports; on-job training (OJT) of FP providers is intended to be implemented as a novel approach to assure service delivery sustainability by addressing the challenge of high turnover of trained providers to assure that no one is left behind.

Therefore, CHAI is looking for suppliers to submit competitive bids for the procurement of forty-two (42) Gynaecological Anatomic Models, ZOE ® Gynaecologic Simulators for practical sessions during the mentioned OJT and post-training clinical mentorship.

Any questions/concerns/clarifications related to this tender should be addressed to CHAI Rwanda procurement Office through rwandaprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org not later than 3 days before the deadline for submission. Any questions/concerns/clarifications received after this deadline will not be considered.

Please take note of the following requirements and conditions pertaining to the procurement of the above-mentioned anatomic models (see appendix for specifications):

Administrative Documents:

• The letter of submission of the tender correctly filled and signed
• Brief Overview of company (Company profile) including physical business address and postal address
• Latest Business Registration Certificate under RDB
• Valid RRA Tax clearance certificate
• Valid RSSB clearance certificate
• Proof of using EBM

 Other requirements:

The company should have pulled a tender with such or near caliber. At least 2 proven previous experience with written recommendations will be required

• The vendors should indicate clearly if the items they are bidding for are readily available in store. Priority will be given to those who can deliver fast.

NOTE: due to the urgency of these models, the supplier should be able to deliver within three (3) weeks from the order confirmation.

Well written bids documents prepared in English, will be sent to this email address rwandaprocurement@clintonhealthaccess.org, with “Procurement of Gynaecological Anatomic Models, ZOE ® Gynecologic Simulators ” in the subject line not later than 11^th January 2023 at 05:00 pm local time. It shall remain your responsibility to ensure that your bids will reach the address email above on or before the deadline. Bids documents that are received by CHAI after the deadline indicated above, for whatever reason, shall not be considered for evaluation. Only shortlisted companies will be contacted.

Bidders will be first evaluated for meeting the administrative and other requirements, those who do not fulfil all the requirements or do not submit the required administrative documents will be disqualified.

CHAI reserves the right to confirm the information given by applicants to validate the information and make informed decisions.

CHAI reserves the right to accept or reject any application based on the evaluation criteria.
