Contract Opportunity VSO is a global voluntary organisation whose mission has been to bring people together to fight poverty through the lasting power of volunteering.
We will be running a tender process with the intention of appointing a consultant / consultancy firm to support the monitoring, evaluation and learning activities of the pilot phase of a project working with Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers / pre-primary teachers in Rwanda. We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably experienced and qualified service providers.
VSO’s requirements: • The assignment will deliver quantitative and qualitative data collection at two to three intervals over a seven-month period, including lesson observation, working with enumerators / data collectors
• The assignment will involve field work in 30 Districts with a sample of schools and teachers
• The supplier should have relevant research qualification(s)
• The supplier must have extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research including large scale data collection working with enumerators / data collectors
• The supplier must have experience in training and supervising field teams
• The supplier should be able to demonstrate experience of delivering similar assignments
• The supplier should have excellent analytical, communication and report writing skills in English.
• The supplier must be available to start mid-December
