JOB DETAILS:
Rwanda Food And Drugs Authority .

Job Responsibilities:
• To implement measures aimed at ensuring compliance the Law No. 47/2012 of 14/01/2013 Relating to the Regulation and Inspection of Food and Pharmaceutical Products and applicable Regulations of the Rwanda FDA by all companies, businesses, individuals and institutions dealing with food and drugs.
• To carry out GMP and GDP inspections of medical products premises in a timely manner so as to meet the set service delivery performance targets.
• To Receive and review applications for GMP inspection for premises used for the manufacture of drugs and processed foods; and applications for inspection for suitability of premises for wholesale pharmacies and retail pharmacies.
• To Make the necessary preparations for the inspections in accordance with the approved procedures.
• To Conduct inspections and write inspection reports in a timely manner in accordance with the approved procedures,
• To collect random samples of medical products or processed foods for quality control testing, when required.
• To prepare status reports on inspections carried out.
• To Participate in the development of guidelines, manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other QMS documents for the Rwanda FDA.
• To Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Good analytical and investigative skills.;
• Knowledge of marketing methods and approaches;
• Ability to provide technical solutions to complex and critical technical issues, and provide innovative strategies and good options;
• High organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good analytical skills;
• Time management skills;
• Advanced Computer skills;
• Time management skills;
• Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French language, knowledge of all is an advantage

Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Food Sciences& Technology.
