JOB DETAILS:
Under the supervision of the Executive Secretary of the National Women Council, the incumbent shall have the following attributions:
• To identify and determine the nature of women's social issues;
• To assist women who face social problems and encourage them to pursue activities means to facilitates their integration into social
• To encourage women to use various modern devices that can facilitate their daily activities
• To identify health related problems, and in particular those which affect women;
• To encourage women to get their children vaccinated, attend prenatal consultation, give birth at hospital, get treated for sexual transmitted diseases and get proper vaccination
• Mobilise women to participate in different health program;
• Encourage women to follow birth control program and provide a good education for their children;
• Sensitize women to good hygiene practices especially hygiene of their children, home, body, clothing and cleaning tools, and to prevent disease and preserve health by exercising;
• Encourage women to improve their nutrition;
• Encourage women to prevent and protect themselves against HIV and AIDS and any other epidemic disease;
• Propose to the NWC the partnership strategy with the community health workers;
• Encourage women to join the medical insurance;
• Encourage women to join leaning center, to have a culture of reading and to seek out information and disseminate it;
• Encourage women to go to school and take part in training and to take an interest in science and technology
• Encourage women to give girls and boys equal opportunities in education;
• Support technically, monitor and follow up, the functioning of the NWC at Provincial, and District levels;
• Ensure the implementation of the NWC performance contract, action plan and production of report in province and District supervised or monitored
• To carry out any other duties assigned by superior organs in relation to her duties and responsibilities.
