TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR THE SUPPLY OF POTATO SEEDS                

1. Introduction :

Inades-Formation Rwanda is launching a call for tenders for the supply of potato seeds
to beneficiaries of the “Project to strengthen the socio-economic capacities
of Rwandan women through family farming and community microfinance for sustainable development” under financial support from the Basque Government (Spain) via ALBOAN

The location of the beneficiaries of these seeds is presented in the table below:

2. PRESENTATION D’Inades-formation rwanda

Inades-Formation Rwanda is a Non-Governmental Organization under Rwandan law. 
It belongs to a pan-African network, Inades-Formation, which is currently established in ten countries: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo (DRC), Ivory Coast, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Chad, Togo.

Inades-Formation is the common name for “African Institute for Economic and Social Development – ​​African Training Center”. Inades- Formation Rwanda was created in 1976. It obtained legal personality by Ministerial Order No. 119 of August 22, 1977, revised by Ministerial Order No. 75/11 of April 18, 2006. Since May 29, 2013 , Inades- Formation Rwanda is officially recognized as a national NGO in accordance with Law No. 04/2012 of 02/17/2012 governing the creation and operation of NGOs in Rwanda and has received official approval from the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) .

for all.

4. Mission d’inades-formation rwanda

The mission of Inades-Formation Rwanda is to  “work for the social
and economic promotion of people by attaching particular importance to their free and responsible participation in the transformation of their societies”.

5. ZONES D’INTERVENTION d’inades-formation rwanda

Inades-Formation Rwanda's area of ​​intervention is the entire national territory. However, according to the means currently available, it carries out its activities in 18 districts across the country: 6 districts of the Eastern Province (district of Bugesera, Kirehe, Gatsibo, Ngoma, Kayonza and
Rwamagana), 5 districts of the of the South (Gisagara, Nyaruguru, Huye, Nyanza
and Nyamagabe), 5 districts of the Western province (Nyamasheke, Karongi, Rutsiro, Rubavu
and Nyabihu) and 2 districts of the Northern province (Rulindo and Musanze).

6. Language:

The language to be used in correspondence relating to this contract is either English or
French.  

7. Technical specifications of SEEDS

The seeds to be distributed are certified CRUZA variety potato seeds, medium size. 

8. Submission conditions 

Bidders can be natural or legal persons having a company registered by RDB or RCA (in case of a cooperative) capable of providing the EBM invoice.
Interested parties may submit to one (1) or multiple lots.

9. Submission files:

Submission files must include:

1. A registration certificate issued by RDB 
2. The legal personality delivered by RCA in the case of a cooperative;
3. The price per kilo and the total price;
4. A non-refundable payment slip of 20,000 Frw, paid to the account

no 00040-00002903-26 of Inades- Formation Rwanda housed in the bank of Kigali (BK)

These submission files must be submitted to the Inades-Formation Rwanda office
located in Remera, below the Christus Center, behind the bus station under closed envelopes
in a closed envelope marked “  SUBMISSION FOR THE SUPPLY OF POTATO SEEDS  ".

NB The proposed price must include transport to the distribution sites 

10. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION AND OPENING OF OFFERS

The deadline for submitting offers is 01/15/2024 at 2:00 p.m. , the opening will be made the same day at 2:30 p.m. in the Inades-Formation Rwanda meeting room, in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives. .
