Call For Proposals

1. Background:

Rwanda Women’s Network (RWN) is a national humanitarian non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to promotion and improvement of the socio-economic welfare of women in Rwanda, since coming into being in 1997. Over time, the organization has dedicated its efforts to strategies that empower women and has extensive experience in fostering women’s participation and grassroots responses to community challenges. This is done through safe spaces dispersed in 17 districts of Rwanda. These safe spaces have been and still very crucial in the fighting against Gender based violence. These safe spaces have also become community and family centers.

Rwanda Women’s Network seeks to recruit a Security company which shall provide security services for the protection of client personnel, visitors, assets and facilities and prevent the unauthorized access.

2. Keys responsibilities of Security companies:

Provide uniformed, qualified and trained security personnel with at least 3 years of experience in the field of security.
Make sure that the personnel allocated to Rwanda Women’s Network premises have not been convicted of a crime or a greave breach of international humanitarian law, nor a person against whom such a proceeding is pending.
Company will provide two (2) “Armed” and two (2) unarmed guards at Rwanda Women’s Network offices (Kacyiru and Nyagatare) for seven days (24hours a day) a week as per Rwanda Women’s Network request.
Provide the CV and the identifications of staff /personnel allocated to the premises of Rwanda Women’s Network.

The keys duties of the security guards will include: 

  • The control of visitors accessing the Rwanda Women’s Network premises
  • The check of vehicles accessing the premises
  • Protect Materials at both offices including (Vehicles, Motorcycles and Stoves)
  • The surveillance and patrolling of the premises to avoid any intrusion and attack on persons or property.

The required information in financial offer.
The price quoted must be in Rwandan Francs (FRW).

3. Eligible firms and applications must meet the following criteria: 

  • Must be duly registered in Rwanda (Provision of RDB certificate or any other related document provided by a recognized Rwanda regulatory body/agency)  
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience of providing similar services in Rwanda;
  • Must provide references of at least three clients to whom they are providing similar services and provide completion of work certificates
  • Be able to provide brief information of the firm.

4. Submission of proposals:

Interested firms should submit their offers by E-mail and should be clearly marked “PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES”  not later than 30th November 2023 at 2:00pm
