Tender background
DUHAMIC-ADRI is a prominent Non-Governmental Organization committed to fostering rural development and empowerment within Rwanda. it operates extensively across 27 districts.
In order to ensure effective implementation of its projects, DUHAMIC-ADRI invites supermarkets in the provision of snacks, kitchen consumables and soft drinks to ensure successful implementation of its various projects and initiatives.
- Context and justification of needs
DUHAMIC-ADRI, aims to enhance the well-being and productivity of rural communities through access to quality food products and essential kitchen items.
- Objective:
The objective of this tender is to select a reliable supermarket supplier capable of providing a wide range of snacks, beverages, and kitchen consumables to DUHAMIC-ADRI. The selected supplier will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of diverse and high-quality products for the organization's activities.
- Scope of Work:
The scope of work includes the supply of the following items:
Different snacks: Various types of biscuits, cakes, doughnuts, samosas, etc.
Biscuits, Cakes, Doughnuts, Small Samosa &chapatti
Drinks: Milk, juice, soda, water

- Tender Process:
This will be a public tender, where all interested bidders(supermarkets) will submit their prices for the mentioned items. Bidders will be evaluated based on the least prices offered and other relevant documents. The successful bidder will be awarded the contract to supply the required items to DUHAMIC-ADRI
- Location of supermarkets
The interested supermarkets must be located in Kigali city, to facilitate accessibility.
- Submission Requirements:
Invited bidders must provide the following documents:
- Financial Quotation inclusive of all transport and applicable taxes (transport from the supermarket to DUHAMIC-ADRI in Niboye sector of Kicukiro district)
- Company registration certificate
- Proof of using EBM (Electronic Billing Machine)
Valid tax clearance certificate
- Two certificates of good completion for providing similar services
7. Contract Duration:
The successful bidder will enter into a one-year (with possibility of renewal basing on the performance) contract with DUHAMIC-ADRI
The interested bidder shall submit their bids (both technical and financial offer) not later than Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00AM
The public opening is scheduled on the same day at 11:30AM
