AVSI Rwanda is a registered local organization at Rwanda Government Board (RGB) as local NGO under Reg.N°:717/RGB/NGO/LP/12/2020. Its mission is to promote the dignity of the person through development cooperation activities
AVSI started working in Rwanda in 1994, just after the Genocide against the Tutsis, initially engaged in humanitarian emergency interventions.
We operate in 6 Rwandan districts in different areas of intervention. We accompany more than 240,000 people with project of Education, Child protection and Youth Rights, Gender equality and Women’s Empowerment, Mental health, Economic Empowerment, Climate Change and Agriculture.

PS: The needed seeds shall be in the certified seed category, except for Cassava, Sweet potato and groundnuts whose minimum seed category shall be Quality Declared Seeds (QDS).
It’s mandatory to separately calculate the transportation cost per sector because seeds will be delivered to the Sector Offices.
General Specifications
(i) Being a registered seed producer or seed dealer proven by a relevant certificate provided by competent authority to supply seed in the country;
(ii) Having seed that has fulfilled seed inspection and certification and attested by a seed certification certificate issued by Competent Authority;
(iii) Having seed/ planting material ready for distribution and use by farmers;
(iv) Demonstrating logistical capacity to effectively distribute and deliver the required quantity.
(v) EBM invoice and tax registration
(vi) Valid Tax clearance certificate from Rwanda Revenue Authority
