TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT

Title: Supply of Kitchen Materials to Schools in Rubavu and Rusizi Districts

Swiss TPH Rwanda hereby invites national bidders for the supply of Kitchen Materials to four schools located in Rubavu and six schools located in Rusizi. This opportunity is open to all companies specialized in the supply of kitchen materials and related materials. We would like to request your best and final offer (BAFO) in Rwandan Francs (RWF) for the following services: 

1.    Type:  

Supply of kitchen materials to schools as follows:

• 20 Sauce Pans big size of 400L
• 250 Dishes in aluminum
• 15000 Plates in Aluminum
• 500 cups (30 cl)

2.    Destination:

The service provider will deliver all the supplied materials at the designated schools as follow:

Rubavu :

• Groupe scolaire Amahoro situated in Gisenyi sector - Supply of the kitchen materials including 2 Big Sauce pans, 25 serving dishes, 1500 plates and 50 cups
• Groupe Scolaire Kayanza situated in Nyundo Sector - Supply of the kitchen materials including 2 Big Sauce pans, 25 serving dishes, 1500 plates and 50 cups
• Groupe Scolaire Murambi situated in Rubavu Sector - Supply of the kitchen materials including 2 Big Sauce pans, 25 serving dishes, 1500 plates and 50 cups
• Groupe Scolaire Rambo situated in Nyamyumba Sector - Supply of the kitchen materials including 2 Big Sauce pans, 25 serving dishes, 1500 plates and 50 cups

3.    Payment:              

The supplier and all supporting documents i.e., commercial invoice, tax invoice, signed receipts by Swiss TPH as well as proof of service will affect payment within 10 days from the provision of the invoice.

1. Your offer should clearly state the following: 

Financial proposal is required for the provision of renovation and supply of furniture and equipment for youth spaces according to the details listed above.

1. Location and contact details of your office
2. Price per lot sub-total (i.e., show the total without VAT and with VAT)
3. Specify the tender lot. A company can submit more than one lot.
4. Grand Total
5. Bank information (Bank name, bank account, and account name)

Note: Kindly use your company’s letterhead for your quotation

4.    Pertinent information:  

• Previous experience providing a similar service (Recommendation letter at least three (3) from year 2019 up to now).
• Provide a list of three (3) references with contact numbers and email addresses.
• Provide a company profile with at least three (3) top management personnel.
• Having worked with Swiss TPH previously is an added advantage
• The bids must be sent as one PDF document

5.    All or None Clause:  

The Swiss TPH reserves the right to accept the whole offer or to cancel the tender.

Please note that Swiss TPH is not bound to select any of the firm’s submitting bids and does not bind itself in any way to select the firm offering the lowest price. The contract will be awarded to the bid considered most responsive to the needs, as well as conforming to Swiss TPH’s general principles, including economy, efficiency, and best value for money. Should your offer be accepted, you will be required to sign, stamp the contract, and return a copy confirming your acceptance of the agreed to terms and conditions.

6.    Required documents and certificates:

• Financial offer – signed and stamped detailed quotation (including cost per unit) and all applicable charges in local currency (RWF)
• Business registration certificate from RDB           
• A valid tax registration certificate.
• A valid Tax clearance 

7.    Validity: 

Your offer must remain valid until 30 June 2023 before which a framework agreement, if placed, should be accepted by you. 

8.    Offer: 

Well-written bids, written in English, properly arranged should be submitted in a sealed envelope to The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, Kigali office, Gasabo District, Kimihurura Sector, Kamukina Cell, Nyenyeli village, house no 09 / KG501 street no later than 5:00 pm, Kigali Time, on 5/6/2023 .
