Background and rationale of the assignment
In the context of the EU-funded project “Social Dialogue 4 Sustainable Development (SD4SD): Promoting Effective Social Dialogue, Strengthening Social Protection and Enforcing the National and International Labor Standards in Rwanda” " the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) jointly with “ Congrès du Travail et de la Fraternité (COTRAF -Rwanda)” are implementing this project to foster social protection, social dialogue, minimum living wages and the respect of national and international labor norms in three sectors: mining, tea and education.
To have clear and concise information dealing with the project issues in an innovative method explaining the concrete advantages that better social protection and effective social dialogue for workers, employers, and government, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES-Rwanda) is looking for a video producer expert who will produce 5 short videos clips (30-45 Seconds) with clear and concise information as a result of different consultations of local and national level decision-makers, employers, district council representatives, representatives of public institutions and young professionals ( TG 4-7) of the project target groups and the literature review around the above-mentioned themes
The purpose of the consultancy service
The overall purpose of this consultancy service is to produce 5 short video clips with which will help many government stakeholders and employers who do not always take the time to process the voluminous documents. The video will explain the concrete advantages of social protection, effective social dialogue, collective bargaining agreement, minimum wage, and compliance with national and international labor standards for both employers and government.
Key deliverables
Reporting arrangements (Supervision and Collaboration)
The consultant will report to FES Rwanda and work closely with the project team
Time Schedule
The assignment is expected to be completed within a maximum of 10 working days from the date of commencement. The consultant will provide a detailed schedule for the task and delivery of the outputs. The schedule will be agreed upon by the two parties (Consultant and FES Rwanda)
