JOB DETAILS:
The partnership between Rhineland-Palatinate and Rwanda has existed for more than 40 years. It began in 1982 as an unusual attempt by two countries to reshape development policy and has now become an internationally recognised model of citizen-oriented, decentralised, and efficient international cooperation at the local level. The Coordination Office of the Partnership between Rhineland-Palatinate and Rwanda (Jumelage) oversees most of the projects carried out within the framework of the partnership.
The Coordination Office is looking for an intern for its reception for 6 months who will provide orientation to visitors and support the administration in various tasks.
General tasks:
• Welcoming and guiding Rwandan and foreign visitors at the office
• Supporting the coordination and implementation of the booking of hotels, flight reservations and transport for visitors
• Supporting registration, distribution and orientation of emails, letters, phone calls and other incoming and outgoing documents and communication
• Supporting the preparation of drafts and file official letters to ministries, embassies, partners, and other organizations
• Supporting the visa process for incoming and outgoing applications
• Supporting the drafting of diverse correspondence
• Updating the monitoring matrices for logistics
• Supporting the creation of public relations content for social media
Required qualifications and competencies:
• A university degree (Bachelor level) in a field related to tourism, public relations, communication, business administration or equivalent skills and experiences in hospitality services
• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, PPT, Excel)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda, German and French language skills are an asset
• Being proactive

• High organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure
