JOB DETAILS:
Integrated Polytechnic Regional College Of Karongi .

  Job Responsibilities:
• Receive purchase orders and requests for payments in local mode (through BNR);
• Process payment in smart IFMIS through local mode (indirect payments);
• Receive and check conformity and accuracy of payments requests;
• Ensure approval of payment and submission to BNR;
• Check regularly payments made by BNR ;
• Strengthen and maintain network with BNR and RP focal persons;
• Write the Cash Book and General Ledger using an appropriate accounting software to produce income and expenditure reports and other financial statements;
• Prepare complete, accurate and timely financial reports and statements in accordance with mandatory deadlines;
• Participate in Internal and External Audit exercises and assist them in their respective functions;
• Put in place a proper filling system;
• Ensure regular filling of accounting documents for indirect payments ;
• Prepare bank accounts reconciliation
• Correct errors found in financial statements
• Consolidate the accounting information and fill in the reporting format provided by MINECOFIN
• Follow up the approval of the financial statement report and submit to RP in due time
• Identify IPRC service providers whose VAT and withholding taxes are to be declared and paid.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor

• Strong IT skills, particularly in Financia software (SMART IFMIS);

• Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English or French


  Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Management with specialization in Finance/Accounting
• Accounting Professional Qualification recognised by IFAC (ACCA, CPA)
