1. Background of the tender

DUHAMIC-ADRI through its program CJC is initiating a project to purchase and distribute improved cooking stoves that can efficiently use both charcoal and firewood in Gisagara district specifically in Ndora, Muganza and Kibirizi sectors. The primary objective is to provide sustainable and energy-efficient cooking solutions to vulnerable households, including marginalized people, persons with disabilities, youth-headed families, teen mothers, young mothers, households in agglomeration sites, elderly persons, single-headed households, and those affected by climate change issues, including refugees.

2. Quantity of needs and technical specifications

The following is the needed quantity and technical specifications:

The required stoves will be distributed exclusively in Gisagara district, specifically in Ndora, Muganza, and Kibirizi sectors. The financial quotes must encompass transportation costs and all associated taxes.

3. Eligibility criteria

Eligible bidders should fulfil the following requirements:

• Copy of trading certificate
• A valid Tax clearance certificate
• Proof of having electronic billing machine (EBM)
• Be ready to supply all the stoves in a period not exceeding 4 days from the date of receiving the purchase order

Bids will be submitted in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Executive Secretary of DUHAMIC-ADRI at Kicukiro head office no later than Wednesday January 24, 2024 at 10:00AM

The public opening of bids is scheduled on the same day at 10:30AM at DUHAMIC-ADRI headquarters
