Gikuriro Kuri Bose
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) was awarded a five-year USAID project, the Inclusive Nutrition and Early Child Development Program (INECD) implemented in consortium with four members; Humanity Inclusion, UMUHUZA, TSI, UGHE and four sub-partners; CARITAS, AEE, YWCA, DUHAMIC implementing the project in 10 districts (Kayonza, Ngoma, Rwamagana, Kicukiro, Nyarugenge, Rulindo, Burera, Nyabihu, Nyamasheke and Nyanza). The project aims to improve the health, functioning, nutritional status, and wellbeing of women of reproductive age and children under five years of age, with an emphasis on the 1,000-day window, strengthen inclusion of children and adults with disabilities, and improve positive parenting and child development.

Request for Quotations
Three Stones International Rwanda Ltd, a consortium member of Gikuriro Kuri Bose, calls for quotations from eligible local bidders for the supply of 2100 customized household innovations of infant and young child complementary feeding charts to be used in the Gikuriro Kuri Bose Project. Nationally approved images will be provided for printing.

The quotation should be done in the following table:

The feeding charts should have the following specifications:
• Printing Size: A1 (594mm x 841mm)
• Printing paper: Semi- gloss sticker in color
• Wooden Frame with 3mm plywood face
• Frame built with sections for Food Group sliding indicators
• Sliding indicators painted half green and half red
The Feeding charts should be delivered to Three Stones International Rwanda Office located in Kimihurura, KG622St3 within 3 months of contract signing.

Eligibility
• Venders must be registered with RRA and provide VAT certificate
• Venders must demonstrate capability to produce the clocks within the required timeline
• Venders must demonstrate previous experience on delivering on a work order of this scale

Submission Procedure
Interested and eligible local bidders shall submit the following:
• Expression of interest letter addressed to the Managing Director of Three Stones International Rwanda Ltd. Expression of interest should include the following elements:
• Manufacturing, supply and distribution plan for 2100 infant and young child complementary feeding charts for use at household level in the districts of: Ngoma, Kayonza, Kicukiro, Nyarugenge, and Nyabihu. Scaled to an additional 5 districts in year 2 of the contract.
• Products are expected to have a warranty period of at least two years.
• Tenders shall define the methods that will be used for feeding chart maintenance and repair
• After-sales support service package for 3 years, including technical and maintenance support to ensure feeding charts remain fully functional for the duration of the specified period.
• Social marketing strategy to ensure inclusivity and access to product by vulnerable households with tailored payment structure and marketing plan.
• A technical description on the production process and where parts will be sourced from Provide Origin Certificate of the Feeding Chart.
• In case the product is manufactured in Rwanda, the Vendor should comply with the Made in Rwanda product and criteria to acquire Made in Rwanda logo (Rwanda Standard Board – RSB).
• Financial offer which includes costs of production, transport and timeline of deliverables. Financial offer should include a breakdown of cost per unit and all applicable taxes.
• RDB registration certificate.
• VAT certificate.
• Tax clearance from RRA & RSSB.
• At least two good completion certificates for contracts of a similar size and scope.
Private sector suppliers that demonstrate the capacity or experience to address affordability through tailored payment structures and access to finance, for example through revolving funds through community savings and lending groups, will be highly sought after.
Three Stones International, on behalf of Gikuriro Kuri Bose reserves all rights to the product and all intellectual property and the right to inspect production and receive regular progress updates on delivery of the clocks.

All interested bidders are encouraged to submit questions and view the prototype designed by TSIR ahead of submission of a quotation. A prototype of the feeding chart is available at the TSIR office for bidders to view ahead of submitting quotations, by appointment only. Only online submission will be accepted submitted to: registration@threestonesinternational.com no later than 06th June 2022 5pm CAT. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview where they will be asked to demonstrate capacity to deliver according the required specifications and timeline.
