Background
AOS LTD is a Service Provider that was established from the Joint Venture between the Government of Rwanda and Korea Telecom and is incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing advanced Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on a state-of-the-art Data Center, System development and Integrations, e-Government projects implementation and Consulting among others.
In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, AOS Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to support its business operation.
Position: Public Relations & Branding Officer
Roles and Responsibilities
The Public Relations & Branding Officer is responsible for company visibility, corporate social responsibilities and relationship with the media.
• Coordinate all Public Relation and Communication activities
• Responsible for inbound and outbound marketing by supporting the implementation of marketing strategies
• Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth
• Selling Datacenter services by acquiring new customers
• Maintaining new customer accounts and retaining existing customers
• Ensure the accurate, complete and timely billing of services
• Ensure timely delivery of various reports required by the head of department
• Working and abide by sales target as set by the head of department
• Provide customer support and manage customer relationship
• Identify IT projects opportunities to be implement by the company
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
• At the least, more than 1 year of experience in public relations or marketing and advertising or IT Business Management.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in social media platforms,
• Good understanding of ICT industry,
• Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
• Good Negotiation skills
• Good Presentation Skills
• Good working Attitude
Education/ Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in PR/Communication or Marketing/Advertising or IT/Business Management
• Minimum 1 year experience in PR/Communication and/or Marketing/Sales
