Instruction and conditions of bid process:

  1. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and be received before bid submission deadline together with the proof of payment for a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand (10,000) Rwandan Francs deposited to account No6775012294/RWF (ECOBANK Rwanda).
  2. Bidders must submit their best and final offers.
  3. Bidders will be informed of the outcome of their bids one day after the deadline and this will be done in public in the presence of available bidders.
  4. The winning bidder will be required to make payment to IUCN prior to start the legal transfer and collecting of the Vehicle.
  5. The winning bidder will be required to pay 50% of the bid immediately, the balance will be paid after the transfer of ownership.
  6. Upon completion of transferring the ownership and payment of total bid the winning bidder will sign an IUCN sales agreement and acknowledge the receipt of the asset and that IUCN accepts no further responsibility or liability on the vehicle and its use.
  7. IUCN will facilitate with all required documents to transfer the ownership and no cost related to this process will be paid by IUCN. Transfer cost will be covered by the Winner.

Sealed Envelopes should be deposited at the reception of IUCN Rwanda Country Office not later than 02nd February 2024 at 5:30pm.

Bid Opening is scheduled on 05th February 2024 at 02:00pm and all bidders are free to attend.

Terms and conditions of Sales

Eligible parties shall bid according to the following conditions:

  1. Prospective bidders can submit the bidding document to be the following email address rwanda@iucn.org (the file must be protected, and the password will be shared at the date of opening the bids) or sealed envelope to IUCN Office located  at KN 16 Ave Kiyovufrom 24th January 2024 during working days and hours.
  2. IUCN reserve the right to accept or reject the highest tender received or bid without assigning any reason thereof.
  3. The successful bidder shall pay 50% of the accepted bid amount immediately on acceptance of the bid by IUCN through Bank Account Number 6775012294/RWF opened in ECOBANK.
  4. The remaining balance of 50% will be paid within 2 days after the transfer of Ownership. Failing to do so will result in penalty of 2% interest of the remaining balance (the interest will be applied on daily basis).
  5. This vehicle is being sold ‘’as is where is’’ condition.
  6. Any taxes in respect of this vehicle, shall be payable by the successful bidder. This is a precondition to affect the transfer of the ownership.
  7. The vehicle together with the documents will be delivered to the successful bidder after full payment of the bid amount. IUCN will also issue act de vente.
  8. If the amount quoted in the tender is unsatisfactory to IUCN, the sale of this asset does not arise.
