JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities: As a Programme Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing development cooperation and implementing results-based programmes. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying new and upcoming projects. Staying updated on relevant national and regional political developments, particularly within Denmark's priority sectors, will be a key part of your portfolio.
Qualifications and Competences: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competences:
• A Master's degree or similar higher education in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience, with a strong focus on programme administration and management, including grant management.
• Experience working for and/or interacting with bilateral development partners and/or international organizations, including multilaterals.
• Familiarity with programme administration and management in a public or publicly funded organization. Experience working or having dialogue with the Government of Rwanda, especially the Ministry of Finance, would be advantageous.
• Excellent writing, analytical, communication, and networking skills. The ability to swiftly translate from Kinyarwanda to English and/or French would be an asset.
• A motivated team player with the ability to work at a fast pace, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
