 1. Coordinate and handles international cooperation activities
• Inform & advice the Director of the unit about the different international programs available within the scope of higher education.
• Promote and handle student mobility to and from foreign institutions, within the national academic framework and of Scholarships programs.
• Advice students on documents to be handed upon award of scholarship, amount of scholarship and possible complementary aids, and other tasks that they should perform directly with the host institution.
• Provide information on student exchange and international cooperation programs.
• Draft and negotiate international cooperation agreements
• Facilitate and enhances international collaboration between internal and external higher education bodies
2.Facilitate and enhance international collaboration between internal and external higher education bodies
• To act as a liaison for international cooperation in higher education,
• To facilitate the generation and transfer of knowledge and technology to achieve international competitiveness,
• To facilitate in the enhancement of international collaboration (networking).
• To facilitate the promotion and support continental/regional collaboration in order to contribute to socio
• economic and sustainable partnership in the higher education sector
• To support in the contribution of an enabling process of accessing international research support opportunities
 Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Economics, Management,Public
Administration, Administrative Sciences, Business Administration,
Development.
Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required:
• Strong Leadership Skills;
• Analytical, problem
• solving and critical thinking skills.;
• Strong Leadership Skills;
• Good at handling and meeting deadlines;
• Ability to prepare briefing papers, background reports and minutes of meetings in an environment in which a high standard of written work is essential;
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills;
• Able to work well with both internal and external clients;
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English or French; knowledge of all these three (3) languages is an advantage.
