Leadership Instructor
Organizational Profile: Inside Design Academy (IDEA in Short) is Rwanda's digital media and graphic design training centre. It was established and set to deliver high quality, hands-on training in the applicability of professional Graphic design, photography, illustration, digital marketing, web development, and senior mentor-ship in adobe certification through career guidance.
Position Overview
The instructor is employed by IDEA to teach the following course within the period determined in the first term of the academic year 2021-2022. This includes all necessary preparatory and consequential work.
The ideal candidate for this position is highly self-motivated and passionate about higher education. S/he must be exceedingly well organized, diplomatic, flexible, resourceful, and proactive. Perform and observe faithfully and conscientiously, at all times, all your obligations under this contract and be willing to cooperate with other instructors, officers, consultants, and advisers of the Academy. The instructor undertakes all duties and responsibilities and exercises such powers concerning the Academy and its business as the Academy shall, within the two hours that an instructor will be spending at the campus. S/He Observe and comply with all lawful regulations and directions as may be made or given to you by the Academy from time to time. S/He observes and complies with the Academy's codes, policies and tools, an instructor's handbook, and security practices. Not to do anything that would divert business opportunities from the Academy; Devote all of your time, attention, and abilities during your hours of work to the Academy;
Conduct yourself in a manner which does not result, directly or indirectly, in lowering the image, esteem, and reputation of the Academy; and Take proper care of all items issued to you. These items shall remain the property of the Academy.

Responsibilities
• Teaching the actual course,
• To tutor students and facilitate students,
• Plan lessons and assignments,
• Develop an instructional plan (known as a course outline or syllabus) for the course(s)
• they teach and ensure that it meets academy and department standards,
• Assess students' progress by grading papers, tests, and other work,
• Stay informed about changes and innovations in their field,
• Adequate preparation of the course, necessarily follow-ups,
• Counselling and supervision of students concerning the course,
• Holding exams concerning the course as well as in relation to previous classes,
• Contributing to evaluation measures,
• Conduct research and experiments to advance knowledge in their field,
• Serve on academic and administrative committees that review and recommend policies,
• Make budget decisions, or advise on hiring and promotions within their department,
• Administration regarding the previously mentioned activities.
