JOB DETAILS:
National Early Child Development Program .

Job Responsibilities:
• The scope of work of the Auditor will include but not limited to the following:
• Prepare a risk based annual audit plan;
• Design the audit plan with clear timelines;
• Ensure that the annual audit plan is approved by management of the institution;
• Review of financial statements (Monthly, Quarterly and Annually);
• Provides findings to the management of the institution;
• Provides final reports to the Steering Committee;
• Give advice on the appropriateness of accounting records and financial reporting;
• Following up audit recommendations;
• Summarizes Internal Audit activities in a consolidated report to be submitted to the Steering Committee;
• Carry out compliance audit and issue an annual opinion on the adequacy of internal controls;
• Provide advisory services.
• To perform any other assignment given to him/her by his/her supervisors.

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Upper Second Class Degree and above); or at least Intermediate level (Part II) of Accounting professional qualification (CPA or ACCA);
• 3 years’ experience in audit services
• Detailed knowledge of financial and audit standards, HR and Financial regulations procedures
• Have High level of integrity;
• Be Innovative and a results oriented person
• Ability to deliver accurate results in a timely manner and in an environment with multiple and challenging tasks;
• Report writing and presentation skills,
• Excellent interpersonal, particularly staff/management relations;
• Excellent problem solving skills and clear logical sense.
