2. Job/Project: Hiring Agencies to conduct a Rebranding process. This process will be conducted by agencies divided into following lot:

LOT: EVENT AGENCY

3. Job Description: Reposition Sanlam Rwanda on the Rwandan market.
4. Background / Overview: Sanlam Rwanda is the leading diversified Pan African non – banking financial services group listed on the Johannesburg and Namibian Stock Exchanges. An Event Agency is a qualified agency in charge of logistics such as selecting locations, hiring caterers, and coordinating with other suppliers such as entertainment or other factors to assure the success of an event.

Event agency job description

Sanlam Rwanda is looking for an Event Agency that will be responsible for scouting locations, managing supplier relationships and client interactions, developing, and negotiating contracts.

Event agency duties and responsibilities

• Listening attentively to client requests and keeping records of these requests
• Selecting an appropriate venue suitable for the type of rebranding launch event or other related activities
• Having good knowledge of geographic locations and their main attractions
• Organizing audio visual equipment in advance
• Coordinating hotels, transportation, and food
• Attending and monitoring activities to ensure client satisfaction.

• Having an analytical skills and attention to details.
• An understanding of trends and ability to respond to our wishes.

• An ability to think strategically and produce a comprehensive Report.

5. Application process: 

• The applicants should submit a folder containing the following: 
• Company profile and background document explaining how its scope of work is relevant to the rebranding work assignment.
• Proof of the company’s registration under the Rwanda Development Board.
• Up-to-date tax clearance certificate.
• A technical proposal with a proper methodology on how to undertake this assignment, along with a high-level working plan timeline.
• Good completion (at least two) that prove strong technical skills.
• Your financial proposal shall be provided in local currency (Rwandan francs), including applicable taxes, with a validity of 60 days from the date of submission.
• Contact details of three references. 
• Having at least 5 years of experience as one of the aforementioned agencies or similar roles.

6. Evaluation criteria:

The following criteria will be used to evaluate the proposals submitted:

• Clarity and feasibility of the proposed service.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in conducting the service proposed or Similar role.
• Reasonableness of the financial proposal.
• Ability to deliver quality outputs within the given timeline.

7. Feedback (Key Dates):

Bid announcement date: 21^st  December 2023.

Bid submission format & Date:

Applications should be submitted in two hardcopies (Original & Copy) at our office (KN3 av, No 19, Kigali) with the subject SANLAMALLIANZ REBRANDING TENDER by specifying the Lot chosen no later than 05/01/2024 at 5:00 PM.
