1. POSITION TITLE: Head of Parts, Accessories & Services Division
BASIC FUNCTION

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business development and Product Sales
• Create and implement the sales and marketing strategy
• Ensure sales targets are maintained per brand as per budget
• Establish and maintain dealer and garage network countrywide
• Develop proposals and make presentations to prospective clients
• Support sales staff by training, visiting customers and assisting in the selling process
• Analyse market information for competitor presence, market needs and sales forecast
• Keep abreast with all new product coming up in the market
• Communicate with suppliers regarding technical matters
Product Training
• Implement internal training program and maintain records.
• Continuously evaluate effectiveness of the training program and update when necessary.
• Conduct dealers and garage training if and when necessary
Product buying, Stock Management and Supplier Management
• Ensure consistent ordering is done as per guidelines and factors set by the MD
• Ensure branches and warehouses countrywide are well stocked according to optimization
• Ensure right pricing is negotiated with suppliers on the product buying
• Ensure supplier relationship
• Visit suppliers and factories where applicable to ensure products certification and quality levels are maintained
• Ensure avoidance of obsolete stocking and monitoring slow moving items with either a cash on or clearance offer
Brand Development, Management and Marketing
• Ensure brand is positioned well in market according to price and visibility
• Ensure new products are positioned and launched strategically
• Ensure new products and range is in accordance with department and company vision
• Ensure marketing plan is done per brand with focus on both retail and wholesale
• Ensure supplier contribution to the marketing campaign
Customer Service Management
• Advice customers on correct application of the product when necessary.
• Oversee claims procedure internally
Reports
• Prepare daily activity reports
• Prepare weekly unit sales report
• Generate monthly sales achievement reports and evaluate the trends
• Competitor pricing analysis
• Prepare monthly ordering reports
• Leading and supervising.
• Working with people.

• Analyzing information.

• Market Research
• Masters in business, engineering or related field
• At least 2 years experience in the following areas:
• Computer literacy in MS office packages
• Background in automobile suspension parts industry
• Conducting technical training
• Sales and marketing
