Section 1: Background
IMBARAGA Farmer’s Organization is a non-governmental organization that is working in Rwanda and operates in 26 districts.
Vision and Mission
Imbaraga’s mission is to “increase the farmers’ professionalism through capacity building for productivity and competitiveness and protect farmers’ social and economic rights through lobby and advocacy”. A professional farmer and a trigger of development”.
Objectives of Imbaraga Farmers Organization:
To enhance farmers productivity and competitiveness,
To strengthen farmers interests and rights,
To strengthen the organizational capacity for service delivery
Section 2: Tender instruction

Introduction |
Bidders shall adhere to all requirements of this tender, including any amendments made in writing by Imbaraga Farmers Organization Any Bid submitted will be regarded as an offer by the bidder and does not constitute or imply the acceptance of the Bid by Imbaraga Imbaraga is under no obligation to award a contract to any Bidder as a result of this tender Imbaraga reserves the right to cancel the tender process to any stage without any liability of any kind for Imbaraga, upon notice to the bidders or publication of cancellation. |

Method of submission |
All bidders shall be submitting the hard copies of quotation to Imbaraga Headquarter in Kanombe sector, Kabeza cell. |
|
Cost of preparation of bid documents |
Imbaraga shall not be responsible for any costs associated with bidder’s preparation and submission of bid documents. |
|
Supplier code of conduct, Fraud and corruption |
Imbaraga strictly enforces a policy of zero tolerance on proscribed practices, including fraud, corruption, collusion unethical or unprofessional practices child abuse, child labor sexual abuse and exploitation and requires all bidders to observe the highest standard of ethics during the procurement process and contract implementation and such mis practices may result to cancellation of the process of procurement at any stage of process. |

Gifts and Hospitality |
Bidders shall not offer gifts or hospitality of any kind to Imbaraga staff’s members during the process of this procurement automatically impose the termination of tender at any stage. |

Conflict of interest |
Imbaraga requires every procurement team member, staff and prospective supplier to avoid and prevent any thing that may lead to the conflicts of interest. Bidders must disclose their knowledge of the following: if the owners, part-owners, officers, directors, of the bidding entity or key personnel who are family members of Imbaraga staff involved in the procurement process under this tender |

Area of deliverance |
The mushroom tubes will be delivered in Nyaruguru district, Bugesera and Gatsibo as detailed in table 2 and the agricultural inputs and agro-equipment in table 1 |

Quality evaluation Maximum score 50% Financial cost 50% The bidder has to develop the financial proposal strictly using the format related to financial proposal (table 1, 2) |
NOTES:
- IMBARAGA has the right to cancel the tender in case the bidders’ prices are not consistent with the market’s prices and available budget,
- No change for applying on this tender.

The suppliers will supply the quantity of mushroom tubes in Nyaruguru district (Rusenge ,munini and Muganza sectors), Bugesera district (Ngeruka and Kamabuye sector) and Gatsibo district(Murambi, Rwimbogo and Kiziguro sector).
NB: Please the bidders can apply for one or all bids respectively to the table above, each bid needs a quotation separately.
