The Role
The Data Manager will be responsible for all patients' clinical data, by collecting them from the portal and make a monthly report to be shared with HMIS. The Data Manager will also support the finance department to double-check patients' status to make sure they consulted with babyl, as well as draft a detailed report to be used internally for evaluation. This position will also be heavily involved in any additional data collection and analysis tasks, working with teams in the UK to ensure the validity of surveying and data collection. As part of this, you will need to leverage existing analytics tools and reports to extract/interpret data and use this to build your reports and drive change for babyl.


What You'll Work On
• Extract and combine data from multiple sources
• Gather patients clinical data from the babyl portal
• Extract data from analytics tools (such as Tableau dashboards)
• Prepare and submit HMIS report on a monthly basis
• Summarize, manipulate and prepare data (using tools such as Excel, GSheets) into a detailed clinical data report to share with the team
• Do any other tasks assigned by the line manager

What We're Looking For
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint or Google Suite equivalents (e.g. Google Sheets, Google Slides)
• Familiarity with BI Reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker. This candidate does not necessarily need to have built dashboards in these tools, but should be familiar using them as an end-user to interpret and extract the data
• Experience building and presenting reports to senior audiences / client assumptions. In particular, this candidate should have strong presentation and communication skills, with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Basic / foundational statistical knowledge
• Strong work ethic
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
• You need to want to make a change now – this is less about creating an incredible strategy that will be implemented over the next 5 years, and more about processes that can change the business in the next 6 months.
• Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment and adopt a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset.
• Proven experience in applying BI into a business setting.
• Native-level fluency in English required
