Are you ready for an exciting new career in the online sales Industry? We are looking for an ambitious and self-starting Business Development Manager in the Kigali Area to help grow our business. With your entrepreneurial spirit, you will be the face of our organization in developing and nurturing new and existing relationships with our vendor subscribers. You will embrace our sales and service culture to build long-term relationships that will aid in the effective execution of our growth strategy. HoPscan is an online marketplace platform under BrakaSoft Consulting. HoPscan is specializing in helping other people succeed with an online presence. On one hand, HoPscan’s help goes towards SMEs to effortlessly make their products/services available online for sale. On another hand, HoPscan helps Buyers fulfill their orders, all around the globe. Our priority is helping our partners finding innovative solutions that bring value to their day to day operations through an extraordinary contextual customer service involving all stakeholders’ engagement into their order fulfillment process. .

Responsibilities
• Develop a growth strategy with a focus on subscribed vendors’ satisfaction and the building of long-term relationships.
• Identify potential Businesses that align product offerings with customer needs.
• Arrange and visit existing and potential vendors throughout a specific territory.
• Work cohesively with the business development team to identify opportunities to grow the business.
• Communicate effectively with the underwriting team and peers to identify process improvements in both groups to enhance the overall vendor experience.
• Provide feedback to subscribers and ensure after-sales support.
• Attend and represent HoPscan at industry events if needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the overall industry, competition, industry trends, and market conditions.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Balance strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, while achieving performance and Key Performance Indicators targets
• Train vendors on the operational tools to facilitate their online sales and order fulfillment.
Reporting
• Prepare weekly appointment schedules with corresponding narrative vendor visits.
• Compile detailed expense and mileage reports.
• Prepare quarterly and annual business plans.
• Attend weekly conference calls with the senior management team to report on volumes, trends, industry news, issues, and strategies.

Applicant Requirements
• Proficiency in English, French, and Kinyarwanda (spoken and written)
• Must have a college diploma/university degree (preferably in Business administration, Business Information systems, or IT management) or equivalent of 5 years in customer service and sales industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the capacity to learn new tools and technologies.
• Good analytical, negotiation, project management, and organizational skills.
• A top performer that thrives in a pay for performance organization.
• Proven ability to resolve complex issues to positive resolution.
• Proficiency in office productivity tools: MS Office, Teams, Zoom, Google Drive & Trello
• Proficiency in using social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)
