JOB OPPORTUNITY
Over the past 24years, the Government of Rwanda (GoR) has developed and implemented several initiatives commonly known as Home Grown Solutions (HGS), which have been key in addressing some of Rwanda’s major post genocide challenges. These initiatives are informed by Rwanda’s local, historical and cultural values and have been central in addressing social, political and economic challenges.
In that regard, Rwanda built and acquired knowledge, expertise and good practices in these areas. As a result, for the past several years, there is an increasing interest and demand from different countries & international organizations to learn from Rwanda’s experience and many African countries are also keen to share their own experience with Rwanda, in return learn from her social-economic development model.
Rwanda Cooperation Initiative was created as a “Single Window Access” for HGS services to insure effective management, prompt response of foreign requests, and institute a cost recovery mechanism.
RCI will provide the following service categories:
• Training & Study Visits
• Advisory services
• Special project implementation.
In order to deliver on its program strategy and accountabilities, RCI is looking for skilled and competent candidates to fill the positions stated in the table below.

Profile Job
Relevant Qualifications
Master's Degree or equivalent specialist training in photography, Visual Arts or Digital Media, Creative Design (Media Design), Creative Design (Communication Design), Creative Design (Environmental Design), Creative Design (Product Design) or any other relevant qualifications & experience
Experience and Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required
• Five (5) years of working experience in photography, Visual Arts or Digital Media, Creative Design (Media Design), Creative Design (Communication Design), Creative Design (Environmental Design), Creative Design (Product Design).
• Good knowledge of design and editing tools, a 3D package, of image copyright, of Video/photo equipment,
• Knowledge of technicalities of photography/videography and editing skills (photo/video);
• Video/Photo Direction skills
• Extensive knowledge on the use of social networks
• Understands and applies fundamental concepts and principles of a professional discipline relating to Audio-Visual content and deliver it to the public (audience)
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and French.
ICT Skills
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Windows/Linux operating systems
• Certificates in A+, N+, CCNA, MCSD, LAMP/WAMP Framework and MCITP
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products and in basic networking protocols and standards
• Knowledge of development softwares IDEs: Dreamweaver, Netbeans, Eclipse, PHPStorm
• Web programming skills (HTML, CSS, CSS3, PHP, Javascript, Mysql ), Knowledge on Content Management Systems and database management
Job Description
• Coordinate the production of video and photos for RCI
• Supervise coverage of RCI events,
• Supervise the editing of pictures and sound to support multimedia and multiplatform films.
• Defining ToR for AV service provider,
• Designing a Cluster based AV production plan
• Produce and upload photos and videos for RCI
• Produce photo and video for Government Institutions
• Edit images to select most relevant and most appropriate
• Edit videos in professional manner
• Uploading of images on RCI website platforms ü Ensure websites are standardized with Audiovisual Content
• Supervise RCI web pages designing, including graphics and animation
• Supervise and coordinate Creation of event based new website
• Ensuring RCI ICT equipment are in good condition
• Ensuring the reliability and scalability of the network and databases
• Proving ICT Training and support services to staff
• Ensuring Data management and security
