JOB DETAILS:
Dental Therapist A1/A0 (Under Contract) .

Job Description
• Report all issues of importance to the appropriate people;
• Educate patients on oral healthcare;
• Carry out reception and administrative tasks where required;
• Ensure that adequate stocks of expendable drugs, materials and instruments are available;
• Carry out scaling and polishing of teeth;
• Undertake routine restorations in both deciduous and permanent teeth, on adults and children;
• Take dental radiographs;
• Extract deciduous teeth under local infiltration analgesia;
• Provide emergency temporary replacement of crowns and fillings;
• Submit monthly, quarterly and annually report to the supervisor
• Perform other related duties as required

• Excellent Communication, Organizational, Interpersonal Skills;
• Computer knowledge (Work Processing, Power Point and Internet)
• Skills in dental preventive and curative technics and management
• Ethical Professional Practice
• Good Observational Skills
• Social Perceptiveness and Psychosocial Skills
• Patience & Empathy Skills
• Effective Communication
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; Knowledge of all is an advantage
